History of development
乾燥機により樹脂を乾燥すると樹脂ペレットに含まれるモノマーや添加物により様々な揮発性有機化合物(VOC)ガスが発生し、成形現場に臭いが漂うため対策できないかといった声がありました。そういった希望を実現するためにVOCガスを分解する方法について検討し、省エネ・省スペースの観点から触媒に着目しました。さらに低温でVOCガスを除去することができないかと開発を進め、今までの業界には珍しかった脱臭機能を持つ装置を実現しました。

VOCガスは加熱された触媒を通過すると活性化エネルギーが低くなり、反応速度が速くなるため、比較的低温度で水と二酸化炭素に分解されます。
Thoughts of the developer
We worked on the new field of deodorization, which we had not been able to do until now, and developed it through trial and error to find out what method is best for VOC gas decomposition. We hope that customers will use this equipment and think that the factory environment has improved. (in charge of development)
